A professional web presence, built for FFLs.

Most dealers we list either have no website or have one that has not been touched in years. FFLSearch already holds your licence record, your location and — once you claim your listing — your fee, hours and services. That is most of a website already.

Claiming your FFLSearch listing is free and always will be. These are separate, optional services — your transfer fee, hours and contact details stay free to publish either way.

FFL Growth Site

A professional website for your shop, built from information FFLSearch already holds.

FFL Growth Site is not currently available to order, and no price is published. The items below describe what it includes.

  • Professional dealer websiteAvailable

Home, about, transfers, services, hours and contact — built from your listing, not a blank template.

  • Mobile-first, accessible, fastAvailable

Most customers arrive on a phone. Quality gates run on every build.

  • Local business structured dataAvailable

So search engines read your address, hours and phone correctly.

  • Hosting, HTTPS and maintenanceBlocked (external step required)

Your site is built and ready; going live on the public internet at a real address is a separate step we arrange with you.

  • Your own domain, or move an existing oneBlocked (external step required)

Domain registration and DNS remain yours to control, and connecting one is arranged directly with you, not automatic.

  • Contact and inquiry formAvailable
  • Kept in step with your FFLSearch listingAvailable

Change your hours once and both are updated.

FFL Growth+

Planned — not for sale

Planned: everything above, plus ongoing local visibility work with a record of what was done.

FFL Growth+ is planned. It is not available to purchase today and has no price. The items below describe what it is designed to include.

  • Local Visibility Score and auditPlanned

Every point is a named check with a fix and who has to make it.

  • Inconsistency detection across your listingsPlanned

Phone, name and website mismatches between your listing and your Google profile.

  • Governed automation with an approval queuePlanned

Nothing public happens without you approving it, and refusals are recorded too.

  • Evidence ledgerPlanned

What was detected, what changed, what is waiting on you, and how each was verified.

  • Google Business Profile updatesPlanned

Requires you to connect your Google account. Not connected to anything today.

  • Review requests and response draftsPlanned

Neutral requests only — never incentivised, never filtered by expected rating.

  • Inquiry acknowledgement and follow-upPlanned
  • Owner dashboardPlanned

Score, leads, reviews, website health and AI activity in one place.

Status labels are literal. “Available” means it runs today. “In development” means it is being built and is not running for anyone. “Planned” means designed and not yet built. We would rather tell you that than let you find out after paying.

Why this is not another SEO retainer

The complaint about this category is always the same: at the end of the month you get “we worked on your SEO” and no way to tell whether anything happened.

So the system keeps a ledger. Every month it can tell you what it detected, what it changed, what it prepared for you to approve, what it was not allowed to do, and how it verified each one. Concretely — “3 inconsistencies detected, 2 corrected, 1 awaiting your approval” — not “ongoing optimisation”.

Two things we will not tell you:

We will not guarantee a search ranking, and we will not guarantee leads. Nobody who makes those promises can keep them, and the ones who make them anyway are the reason you are sceptical reading this.

What the automation actually does

It keeps your business information correct and consistent, and it helps you answer customers faster. That is the whole job. It is deliberately narrow:

  • Correcting opening hours, including holiday hours
  • Correcting the business phone number, address or website
  • Keeping the business category and attributes accurate
  • Publishing factual service descriptions the dealer wrote
  • Uploading business photos the dealer supplied
  • Responding to customer reviews, with dealer approval
  • Answering customer questions with information already on the profile
  • Detecting and reporting inconsistencies between listings

What it will never do on its own

It will not automatically publish promotional content about firearms — no “sale this weekend”, no product promotions, nothing advertising a regulated product under your name without you seeing it first. That is not a setting. The system refuses it, it records that it refused, and no approval overrides it.

Anything that touches a public surface waits for you. Your name is on it.

“I already have a Facebook page. Why would I pay for this?”

A Facebook page is a reasonable place to post. It is a poor place to be found. Someone searching “FFL transfer near me” at 9pm is on Google or in a directory, and what they want first is your fee and whether you take transfers — two things a Facebook page almost never shows and cannot be searched by.

You also do not own it. The page, the reach and the audience belong to the platform, and how many people see your posts is their decision, not yours.

Keep the Facebook page. It is good for regulars. This is for the person who has never heard of you and is deciding, right now, which of four nearby dealers to ship to.

If you work from home

A large share of licensees are home-based, and most do not want a website that implies a storefront and a parking lot. Nothing here forces that. You choose whether the site says “by appointment”, whether it shows a map, and what it says about visiting.

Your premises address is in the ATF’s public record and is on your FFLSearch listing either way — we cannot remove a federal record. What you can control is the context around it, and whether the rest of your presence looks like a shop you do not have.

How much of your time this takes

Approvals are the only recurring ask, and they exist because your name is on anything public. A month with nothing to approve is a normal month.

When you do need something changed, you ask for it in plain words — “close at 4 on Saturdays” — and the system works out which places need updating, does the ones it is allowed to do, and shows you the rest. You are not filling in four different dashboards.

Your information stays yours

  • Your content, photos, branding and domain remain yours.
  • You can use your own domain, or move an existing one.
  • If you leave, you can take your content with you. No hostage-taking.
  • Your FFLSearch listing and everything free on it is unaffected either way.
