Free — no credit card

Your FFL is probably already on FFLSearch.

We built a page for every active federal firearms licensee in the country from the public ATF list — around 77,500 of them. Yours is one. Claiming it is free, and it lets you publish the things customers actually call to ask about.

No postcard? Find your listing by ZIP code and choose “Claim this listing”. It is the same free claim.

How it works

  1. 1

    Find your listing

Search by your business ZIP code, or use the code on your postcard to go straight there.

  2. 2

    Confirm it is you

A mailed code sent to your ATF premises address, or the licence details already on file.

  3. 3

    Add what customers ask for

Transfer fee first — it takes seconds and it is the thing people call to ask.

  4. 4

    Your page goes live

It shows Dealer Confirmed, and you get a link and a QR code you can share.

Why bother

Customers looking for a receiving FFL are trying to answer three questions: will this dealer take my transfer, what will it cost, and when are they open. Almost nowhere on the web answers the second one. People end up asking strangers on forums what their local shops charge.

A claimed listing answers all three on a page that ranks for your business name. It also stops the guessing — if your fee is not published, someone will assume a number, and it will not be the one you would have chosen.

What you control

Standard transfer fee
and any notes — what it covers, what it excludes
Accepts online transfers
the question every buyer asks before shipping
NFA items
your own answer — never inferred from your licence type
Private-party transfers
yes, no, or leave it unanswered
Hours
including the days you are closed
Phone and website
the ones you actually want customers to use
DBA / trading name
if it differs from the name on your licence
Services and description
in your own words

Every field is optional, and a blank field shows as “Not provided” — never as “No”, and never as a fee of $0.

Dealer Confirmed

A claimed page carries a Dealer Confirmed marker, which means: information on this profile has been confirmed or updated by the dealer. That is the entire claim.

It is not a rating, a recommendation, a background check, or a statement about your standing with the ATF. We do not use the word “verified” anywhere on this site, because it implies a check we have not performed. What Dealer Confirmed means.

Why the transfer fee matters more than the rest

It is the one fact a customer cannot get anywhere else. Your address and licence type are in a federal database. Your hours are probably on Google. Your transfer fee is in your head, and it is the number that decides where a package gets shipped.

If you fill in one field, fill in that one. You can always come back for the rest.

Sharing your page

Once your listing is live you get a short link and a QR code. Put the code on the counter, the link on your website or your social profiles. Customers can see your fee and hours before they call, which is fewer phone calls about the same question.

If you also need a website

Most dealers we list either have no website or have one that has not been touched in years. Because FFLSearch already holds your licence record, your location and — once you claim — your fee, hours and services, most of a website already exists.

This is optional and separate. Claiming your listing is free and stays free whether or not you ever look at this.

Data and trust

Business name, address, licence type and FFL number come from the ATF’s published licensee list. This site is currently built from the ATF data of September 27, 2026. Anything you add is stored and displayed separately, so a customer can always tell an ATF fact from your own.

FFLSearch is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the ATF or any other government agency.

Questions dealers ask

Does it really cost nothing?
Yes. No card, no trial, no charge at the end. If we ever sell anything it will be prominence and presentation, never a fact a customer needs.
Can I remove my listing?
The ATF list is a public record and the directory reflects it. If you believe something on your page is wrong, tell us through the support form and we will look at it.
Do I have to publish my fee?
No. Every field is optional. Leaving it blank shows “Not provided”, which says nothing about you either way.
I have several locations.
Each licence has its own page and is claimed separately, because each has its own premises address and its own fee.
Will you sell my email or phone number?
No. The contact details published on your page are the ones you choose to publish. We do not sell dealer contact data.
Someone else claimed my listing.
Tell us through the support form. Claims are tied to the premises address on the ATF record, and we can unwind one.
